I made another card using the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.

This time I used MFT Stamps and die-namics and pretty new paper from i {heart} papers:

I meant for the ink to be imperfect to match the pattern on the paper I used, which is also a little distressed.
This stamp is Complimentary Greetings.
The paper is Beautiful Moments by Carta Bella.
I made the flower with the Botanical Beauty die-namics.  I hand cut the 2 little banners at the bottom.

MFT sketch {fail again...!}

Hello, hello and happy Friday :)
I made this card for this month's MFT Stamps guest designer challenge. 
I just love a good sketch!
And then I realized that one of these dies is from another company...NOT MFT Stamps and then I cried :(

Oh well, it was fun to make and I'll just do it over this weekend using the right stuff!!

I used the Triple Scoop stamp set that is free right now called Complimentary Greetings.

I made a little something using this weeks Stamp of the Week, day of delight.

It's something I made that is NOT great, it's not even really that pretty but I'm real so I'm going to share it anyway...all I can say is I TRIED!

This is a Crystal Light container that I tried to make into something else ;)

and this is the CRAZY paper bow????...who knows what I was thinking...but there it is!

too many patterns of paper...wrong ribbon...crazy colored butterfly...LOL!

So there you have the reason I ONLY MAKE CARDS! :)  but it was an adventure, I'm glad I tried to step out of my comfort zone just for a minute.

Hi everyone!
I have a card I made last night using some of the fun, new MFT goodies I recently purchased.
I had a lot of fun playing with the hexagon dies...VERY cool dies!

This Pure Innocence girl is Freckles...had to have her since I am a freckle girl, too!
I colored her face using my Copics the way Beate taught me......and I don't think I did a terrible job!  Normally I just color it one shade and be done with it but I felt brave and made her have a little color today :)

The patterned paper is Simple Stories, Summer Fresh.

For my Under the Sea card I will admit I struggled...I just couldn't seem to color a pretty fish...you know how that goes, sometimes you are just in a coloring funk, LOL!  But there are PLENTY of stamps in this set that you can do things besides color with!  So I used the smaller, solid fishies and made a Just Keep Swimming card...love that saying!

I made my own background paper using the smaller carnation stamp in this set.  I think I'll send this to my grandma...both of our favorite flower is the carnation and she LOVES red!
